Connect & Discover

I created this beautiful illustration in collaboration with CX Lavender’s in house deadly creative, Chelsea Abbott. CX Lavender is a Sydney-based agency that focuses on delivering digital services. Under CX Lavender is 52 Mondays, a collection of weekly contents that are fresh takes on cultural trends and tech. These are their insights from their thought leaders.

Gather & Create

Chelsea and the rest of the CX Lavender team wanted something that will embody the message in the article. My personal style and representations of the Indigenous community can also be seen here, while also showing through CX Lavender’s brand elements. Notice the use of colours that aligned very well with the brand’s style and elements that spoke about the article’s message. The illustration portrays a work environment where Indigenous team members have a seat at the table, where there is yarning and collaboration.

After completing this exciting project, the illustration was then published to compliment the article, “Finding the ‘Co’ in Co-Design”. The insightful read was all about Indigenous-led co-design. The key takeaways from the article are:
So powerful and it reflects the very essence of the beautiful people I have had the opportunity to connect with within the team.

We’d like to pay our respects to our Elders past, present and future emerging for they how the acknowledge, guidance and resilience of our people. We’d also like to extend our gratitude for the gifts our Mother Earth and Baiame’s creations – for our people, land, waters & sky.
