Connect & Discover

APP is one of Australia’s most respected property and infrastructure consultancy firms. They’re committed to partnering with their clients to make them, and the communities in which they operate prosper. Their entire team is committed to shaping the future of Australia’s economic and social infrastructure, communities and workplaces.

Since 2009, APP has operated under a registered Reconciliation Action Plan in recognition of their voluntary commitment to making a measurable contribution towards their three key pillars of the Plan, these are Respect, Relationships and Opportunities. Their existing RAP has been revised over 2020/2021.

They approached us for a Reconciliation Action Plan artwork that they can showcase as a symbol to how important reconciliation is for them. They wanted something reflective of their journey and connecting to community, land and Country.

Gather & Create

During the process of creating the artwork, we’ve introduced some earth tones to convey a contemporary and inviting feeling whilst encompassing their branding colour palette. Colours of burnt orange, red, yellow and blue were the basis, as these represent the land we live off. The developed design also gravitates towards connection to Country and preservation of land.

The artwork shares the essence of the APP Corporation team members coming together in the centre. It showcases people from all walks of life – to create, build and share. The focus on the surroundings and the use of the thicker lines represents the built environment and projects by APP across the land (cross hatching). It’s about embracing the three RAP pillars above – Respect, Relationships and Opportunities.

Share & Embrace

We are so happy to learn that the finished design was well received by the team. The artwork plays a symbolic part to represent their values and beliefs – a foundation of their workplace to celebrate culture and educate. The artwork is set to be used on their New Reconciliation Action Plan Submission, tender submissions/responses, email signatures, background for zoom, website, capability statements and other general material.
