Leticia Anne talks to Lola Forester | Koori Radio

Today I had a yarn with Lola Forester on Blackchat live on @kooriradio93.7 about my experience in out-of-home care, my journey of resilience, healing through my trauma and growth. We yarned about so many things – from buying my home in Dubbo at 21, to dance teaching, starting my business, my advocacy work and my awards and achievements. Lola was so easy to talk to and made me take in and reflect on how proud I am for all I have done through my young adulthood. I would like to acknowledge the Nations of which we come from, live upon and create within. I’d like to acknowledge and pay our respects to my Elders past, present and future emerging. I’d also like to extend my gratitude for the gifts from Mother Earth, my Ancestors, our Creators and my communities. I am grateful for the knowledge and guidance I have had in my journey and for having the space to share through cultural storytelling and art.
